Nights filled with light

Our spring might come late, but when it is finally here, nothing can be compared with it. The sun has almost no time to sleep, it wants to stay and watch the Nordic beauty.

This photo, which shows the sun admiring a brack of our black currant bush, was taken after 9pm last night.

There is more about my garden over in The House in the Woods today.

Having leaved most of my life in the "real" South, I enjoy the longer evening light here very much. Especially in the place I grew up, where I can see the sun til it disappears behind the horizon around 9.30pm in summer.
Last year, the spring came late here, and when I spotted finally a daffodil, I was inspired to post William Wordsworth's poem "I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud", just as you did this year:

Poems do travel a lot, and make the world a brighter place. :-)

Of course it should be "having lived" - and since I realized this a not a typepad blog, but blogspot, which allows working links, here the link to "I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud".
Have a beautiful trip!

The long daylight of your area this time of year is something I've never experienced but so often heard of. It must be really magical.

I'm so glad I've found you here. Are there any other blogs I should know about (House in the Woods, Blue Cafe, Blue Garden...)?

These photographs are so beautiful, the sky in this and the last one are breathtaking.

I've tagged you for a meme that you might find fun. You can see it on my site.

Skape7 - there's a Slow Movement website you might enjoy, at www.slowmovement.com.
