When Terje and I did the dishes after dinner yesterday three deers ran through the garden. They were fast so even having my camera ready I didn't get any good shoots. The first one is taken through the window, the second from the kitchen veranda when the deers ran through the garden of our neighbours.
We get deer here, too, occasionally. Once I was sitting on the courch reading and out of the corner of my eye I saw movement in the front yard. I looked up slowly and a young deer had walked right down our driveway (our whole front property is wooded) and had gotten within ten feet of the house! Of course, I had no camera handy.
I live in Trondheim, Norway with my husband and two daughters. Two boys have moved out to create their own homes. I work full time, and have alot of interests, but there is hardly a day when you don't find me in the kitchen, playing with old and new recipes. And if I am not to be find it the kitchen, take a look in The Blue Garden. I am a member of the Slow Food movement and a supporter of the Slower Life. You can contact me at: knitwoman1958@yahoo.com

Isn't it exciting to see deer in the yard? They visit us frequently when we are at the mountain house.
